Hello everybody! Even when I'm trying to get out the door I manage to write something for this challenge! Go me! Hope you enjoy :)
Day 3. C is for Coffee.
Navy eyes blink sleep
from corners. Yawn stretches
pink lips. Clear mug is grabbed
from cupboard, set beneath
Keurig. Breakfast blend placed
in holder, blue lights flash.
Lips form smile, coffee pours,
filling mug and room with
a writer's fuel, scent
of nutty heaven.
A sip. A sigh.
Rays of sun filter
in through windows.
Warmth from outside
and in.
